A church is a story. It is the sum of all narratives of the people and ministries that are bound up in it. A church creates its story-line by elevating what it values, by being faithful to what it's called and by choosing stories within itself to invest in.

Overview
We thank the Eastern Synod mission committee for providing St. John’s with the necessary funds to continue the mission project for all 3 years. In the context of the proposed amalgamation of Hamilton Lutheran congregations, the council of St. John's believes that it is crucial to keep the momentum of mind opening and behaviour changing throughout the amalgamation process. We unanimously agreed to extend this mission project for a 4th year, and ask Synod mission committee for the financial and spiritual support.
The focus of the 4th year will be largely on confirming the process of mind opening, behaviour changing through deep self-reflection, life-changing prayer, mind-opening exploration, and compassionate community engagement.
